What is your favorite restaurant in Milwaukee and why?

I LOVE FOOD and one of my favorite things about visiting Milwaukee is trying a new restaurant each time. One easy way to do this is to head to the Zocalo Food Park for a mix of local food trucks- you can get a fresh bagel sandwich, grab a sushi roll, try a taco, and finish it all off with some ice cream. Everything you'll want in one location, not to mention they sometimes have live music and other fun events happening!

What advice do you have for college applicants?

This is YOUR experience so own it! While it's great to get help, advice, or school recommendations from your teachers, parents, friends, and neighbors, don't lose sight of the fact that you're setting up your own future. Make sure to listen to your inner voice every step of the way from writing your application essay to visiting college campuses. Do what feels right for you.

How do you like your cheese?

All of the ways! Fry it, shred it, soup it, melt it, whatever. Wisconsin born and raised means I was raised on cheese and I look forward to adding it to almost every meal.
