Alumni Memorial UnionThe Alumni Memorial Union is the central hub for student life on campus. It features meeting spaces, a ballroom, Chapel of the Holy Family, dining and lounge areas, essential campus services, and key student support offices.

Varsity TheatreIn Holthusen Hall, you'll find Varsity Theatre, Marquette's concert venue and cinema. Seating 1,000, the venue hosts prospective student events, national music acts, movies, as well as Marquette band, choir and orchestra concerts

Zilber HallZilber Hall houses Marquette's primary student services and administrative offices in one location. It includes Undergraduate Admissions and Marquette Central on the first floor, along with numerous leadership and graduate program offices throughout the building.

Marquette HallMarquette Hall is a historic campus landmark known for its iconic Gothic bell tower and 48-bell carillon, which plays across campus each week. The building also houses faculty from the English, Philosophy, and Theology departments, along with three lecture halls.

O'Brien HallO'Brien Hall, opened in 2023, is the $60 million, alumni-funded home of Marquette Business. This 100,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is designed to foster collaboration with industry and prepare future business leaders for generations to come.

Cudahy HallCudahy Hall houses offices and academic spaces for mathematics and computing, including Mathematical and Statistical Sciences, Computer Science, and the Math Help Desk. The five-level building is centered around a spacious atrium with study spaces on every floor.

Johnston HallJohnston Hall originally housed the entire university and now serves as the home of Marquette's Diederich College of Communication. Its renovated spaces include the Wakerly Media Lab, radio station, broadcast studios, advertising lab, and the student-run newspaper, The Marquette Tribune.

Engineering HallEngineering Hall (E-Hall) is a sustainably designed facility featuring LED lighting, solar panels, a green roof, rainwater storage, and LEED Gold certification. Designed by Marquette students, it houses cutting-edge labs and technologies—including robotics, visualization, and 3D printing—that support hands-on engineering innovation.

Todd Wehr Chemistry BuildingThe Todd Wehr Chemistry Building, or Wehr Chem, is home to Marquette's Chemistry Department and part of the Wehr Science Complex. Built in 1965, the six-story building features lecture halls, labs, and advanced research facilities that have trained thousands of scientists, teachers, and engineers.

Wehr Life Sciences BuildingThe Wehr Life Sciences Building houses Marquette's Department of Biological Sciences with classrooms, labs, faculty offices, and research spaces where students and faculty work on multidisciplinary biological research and discovery.

William Wehr Physics BuildingThe Wehr Physics Building houses Marquette's Physics and Political Science departments, with classrooms, lecture halls, and labs. Many students pass through its halls as part of the university's science-focused liberal arts Core Curriculum.

Cramer HallCramer Hall is home to the Speech Pathology and Audiology Department and its Speech and Hearing Clinic, where Marquette students provide services to the Marquette community and the public. On the third floor is the Center for Psychological Services.

Schroeder ComplexThe Walter Schroeder Health Sciences and Education Complex, fondly known as Schroeder Complex, is home to both Marquette's College of Health Sciences and College of Education.

Lalumiere Language HallLalumiere Language Hall, with its distinctive beehive-like design, is home to Marquette's Languages, Literatures and Cultures department and Social and Cultural Sciences. Its smaller classrooms are designed to encourage in-class discussion.

Straz HallStraz Hall, opened in August 2024, is the new home of Marquette's College of Nursing. This 103,000‑square-foot, five-story building features classrooms, skills labs, a simulation center, and student-focused spaces designed for active learning and collaboration.

The CommonsThe Commons is a residence hall for freshmen and sophomores, housing nearly 900 students in co‑ed rooms. It features classrooms, study lounges, game rooms, and community spaces that support student life.

Abbottsford HallAbbottsford Hall, located in the heart of Marquette's campus, offers more than 200 freshman students triple-style rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom.

Cobeen HallCobeen Hall, located on the east side of Marquette's campus, is a coed residence hall, beginning in fall 2020. This hall houses approximately 380 first- and second-year students. Cobeen hosts a dining hall that is open seven days a week.

Carpenter TowerCarpenter Tower, located on the east side of Marquette's campus, offers nearly 300 first- and second-year students both single and double room options and features living learning community floors for both male and female engineering students.

Mashuda HallMashuda Hall is home to nearly 400 first-year and second-year men and women who enjoy a relaxed living environment on the west side of campus. Mashuda has spacious double, triple and quad rooms with air conditioning.

Cobeen Dining HallCobeen Dining Hall is an all‑you‑care‑to‑eat buffet serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with rotating stations and staples like pizza and pasta. One meal swipe gives students unlimited access, making it a popular campus dining option.

The Commons Dining HallThe Commons dining facility is an all‑you‑care‑to‑eat hall with multiple food stations and seating areas serving all meals for residents. Flooded with natural light, it offers diverse menu options and serves as a central social and study hub.

Raynor Memorial LibrariesRaynor Memorial Libraries is Marquette's main research hub, offering print and digital collections, study spaces, and research support. It's now connected to the Lemonis Center for Student Success, providing collaborative study areas and academic resources.

Union Sports AnnexThe Union Sports Annex is Marquette's 24,000‑square‑foot entertainment and social hub featuring a restaurant, bowling center, and a multipurpose sport court for games and events. It's a lively gathering spot with TVs, free Wi‑Fi, games, leagues, and space for student activities and community events.

St. Joan of Arc ChapelThe Joan of Arc Chapel is a 15th‑century Gothic chapel reconstructed on Marquette's campus, serving as a sacred space for Masses and events. Its unique architecture and history make it a notable landmark on campus.

Church of the GesuThis Catholic and Jesuit parish — a Milwaukee landmark and the spiritual center of the Marquette campus — offers daily Mass. A highlight of the academic year is the all-university Mass of the Holy Spirit, which marks the start of the academic year.

Al McGuire CenterThe Al McGuire Center is Marquette's athletic facility with a 3,700‑seat arena, practice courts, and training spaces. It also houses athletics offices and student‑athlete support services.

Wellness + Helfaer RecreationThe Wellness + Helfaer Recreation facility is Marquette's hub for fitness, wellness, and student health services. It features courts, a pool, studios, a track, and dedicated spaces supporting both physical and mental well-being.

Wells Street Parking StructureWells Street Parking is the closest parking structure to Zilber Hall for daily campus visits and within short walking distance of the AMU. This is the recommended parking lot for most campus visitors to have easy and quick access to the Office of Admissions.

16th Street Parking StructureAnother parking structure available for campus visitors. 16th Street is a one-way street from south to north, so the parking structure is best accessed by turning on to 16th from Wisconsin Avenue, or from Clybourn Street farther south.
