What is Milwaukee's best-kept secret?

I love urban greenspaces – and the oak leaf trail is one of my favorites in Milwaukee! It’s a great way to spend some time in nature, while also getting a run or walk in.

What is one piece of advice you have for college applicants?

Every school has a slightly different admissions process. If you ever have questions, feel overwhelmed, or just aren’t sure about your next steps, that’s ok! Get in touch with us. That’s what we are here for!

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

As a child my ideal job changed a lot. As a Kindergartner I told my parents that I wanted to be a “half dad, half clown”. As I got older, I became very interested in architecture – drawing floorplans and attending my local “parade of homes” every year to see the newest trends in home construction. Visiting Frank Lloyd Wright’s Oak Park studio in Chicago, and several of his homes throughout Wisconsin further developed interest in this field. My current career path has deviated a bit from my childhood plans – but I have come to find a passion for working in education, helping students reach their own future career goals!
