What is Milwaukee's best-kept secret?
The lakefront. Milwaukee is home to 1,400 acres of beaches and parks along Lake Michigan. There are so many fun things to experience along the lake, including beach volleyball, walking trails, and an annual kite festival.
What is one piece of advice you have for college applicants?
Take a breath. The college search process is daunting and stressful, but you can do it! Make sure to ask a lot of questions and visit all the colleges you are interested in. Don't be afraid to reach out to your admission counselors if you have any questions.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up and why?
Surprisingly, I didn't dream of becoming a college admission counselor. I actually wanted to be a teacher. Through my college and professional experiences, I slowly learned that I had a passion for helping students make their college dreams possible.
