What is your favorite restaurant in Milwaukee?

My favorite restaurant in Milwaukee is Saffron, a modern Indian restaurant located in the historic Third Ward. I recommend going with a few friends and ordering small plates for everyone to share. This way you can try a little bit of everything, as the food is incredible! My favorite dishes are the crispy cauliflower and the Lucknow pea kofta.

What is Milwaukee's best-kept secret?

Travel by kayak. My favorite summer activity is to rent a kayak from Milwaukee Kayak Company and travel up and down the Milwaukee River. Paddle all the way to where the Milwaukee River meets the Kinnikinnic River and you’ll find the most amazing view of our skyline and the Hoan bridge.

How do you like your cheese?

Deep fried. AKA our state delicacy, the cheese curd. Pick up a basket from the West Allis Cheese Shoppe in the Milwaukee Public Market. You will not be disappointed!
